Located in southeastern Cherokee County, Georgia between Canton, Cumming, Milton, and Alpharetta, Trinity Presbyterian Church is in the heart of the northern Atlanta suburbs. We are a small church of around 50 families, but just like the Atlanta area, we are growing every day. Trinity prides itself on being a closely knit family dedicated to the worship and study of the Lord. We are a family made up of young and old; speaking both in terms of age as well as in terms of time residing in Georgia. As our family and our facilities continue to grow we are committed to maintaining our family-feel because that is what makes Trinity a truly special place to praise and serve God! So at Trinity it doesn’t matter how old you are, where you live, or how long you’ve lived there–you’ll fit in. Whether you are driving, cycling, or walking by, you are ALWAYS WELCOME to join us!

Rev. Esa served as the Associate Pastor of Education at First Presbyterian Church of Marietta for more than 12 years. He served at churches in Pittsburgh, PA and Cincinnati, OH before moving to West Cobb, GA in 1997.
He is a graduate of the University of Denver (BA in Mass Communications), Princeton Theological Seminary (MDiv), and Fuller Theological Seminary (DMin).
Prior to seminary, Rev. Esa worked in broadcast news for several Colorado radio stations. He tells parishioners that he decided to leave the broadcast news industry so that he could tell the “Good News” rather than merely reporting all the bad news in the world.
Through the years, Rev. Esa has served on and chaired a number of presbytery committees in Ohio and Georgia. He was a commissioner to the PCUSA General Assembly for Cincinnati Presbytery.
Rev. Esa and his wife, Mary, have two grown children. Spare time activities include travel, photography, gardening, and many hikes at Kennesaw Mountain National Historical Park.
