Meet Elder George Pierce!
With a smile and easy-to-understand way of presenting his reflections, George is a welcome face to see when it is his Sunday to shine!
George Pierce has been attending Trinity Presbyterian Church since moving to Canton in 2002. He is a Professor Emeritus at Georgia State University after teaching and researching Microbiology for over 20 years. Prior to that he worked in the field of microbiology in private industry for 25 years.
Before moving to Georgia, he lived in New Jersey and led a men’s Bible study through a local Presbyterian Church while serving as a Trustee there. While at Trinity he has served numerous times on Session in various capacities and as Clerk of Session. He currently is responsible for giving a monthly Reflection to the congregation during the sermon portion of the service.
